Okay, well, my subscription to deviant art ran out. It sucks majorly. Because now there's all these cool ways to customize your profile and I'm stuck with a very limited selection because I'm not subscribed anymore.

That, and every time I try to delete a message or a deviation in my message center, it doesn't save, no matter what, so I have fifty message right now and they won't freaking go away for love nor money.

Grah. It's so damn annoying!

Alright, that rant is over (until the messages refusing to go away pisses me off even more again and I'll probably rant about them again).

Brandon is officially a member of the family. Weird to say, I know. After all, he's lived with us since May, and you'd think he'd be 'one of the family' by now.

But Gran and Kathleen finally came to the realization that he wasn't just living here because it was a place to live without having to pay for anything or do anything (and he does pay for stuff, he pays for a lot of the food I eat and he also takes care of me when I feel really sick). Yep, that's right, they realized that he actually wants to be part of the family.

So things started changing pretty quickly. And I couldn't be happier about it, because we're finally working as a family unit now. When Gran or Kathleen want something from Brandon, they go directly to him instead of telling me to pass the message along. And the same goes for when Brandon wants something from Gran or Kathleen; he goes to them directly instead of having me be the messenger.

It's so GOOD not to be the messenger anymore! Because whenever one person had something to say that another person didn't like, I was always the one it got taken out on. Say... They got mad at Brandon, I was the one that would get the brunt of their anger. I pass the message along, and then if it upset Brandon, I got the brunt of HIS anger.

Seriously, nobody should ever have to be the messenger. I feel really sorry for the messengers of the old days. At least in modern day the mailman passes on the news in the form of a letter, and is gone way before you get the chance to open it and get angry.

But yeah, things on the family-level are getting better. That's nice.
